Is it real? Are they real weapons?
This is not role playing or reenactment. All the armour is made of steel and titanium. All weapons and implements used are blunted but can still really hurt. Rules are in place and followed by all fighters to make the sport as safe as possible with the help of marshalls and support staff.
How much does it cost?
To get started in the sport, nothing! You don’t need any armour to join our club. The first few months will involve running drills in our padded equipment and in time you progress into wearing armour as your skills develop.
We strongly advise that you do not spend any money on any equipment until you have trained with a club for a while and have experienced members advise on what to purchase and from where.

Can I participate without fighting?
If competing isn’t for you, we are always on the look-out for brave souls to enter the list as marshals or hit-count and act as support because without this we cannot compete.
