IMCF World Championship 2026

In July 2026, 1316 Medieval Fight Club will travel to Denmark to compete at the International Medieval Combat Federation (IMCF) World Championship, held at the historic Spøttrup Castle from 23–26 July 2026.

The IMCF World Championship is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious events in full‑contact medieval armoured combat, bringing together fighters from national teams and elite clubs across the globe. The event features intense melees, high‑level duels, and professional fight categories, showcasing the very best of the sport.

1316 Medieval Fight Club is proud to fly the Irish colours on the international stage. For our fighters, this championship represents years of training, discipline, teamwork, and commitment to medieval combat sports. Competing at this level allows us to test ourselves against the world’s finest and continue building Ireland’s presence and reputation within the international buhurt community.

Representing Ireland abroad comes with significant costs, including travel, accommodation, competition fees, and essential equipment. As a volunteer‑run club, we are fundraising to help make this journey possible.
